IM Program Manager Business Process Outsourcing 

Responsible for all IM/IT activities within a long term program to move Finance processes to a 3rd party for one of the Business Areas (4 independent business units) of AkzoNobel, including several Business Units, multiple ERP platforms and worldwide coverage. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating full IT plan including governance in line with the business transition strategy
  • Coordinate all IT execution activities, incl. Infrastructure, Telecom, Virtual desktop, application changes, where execution lies in several decentralized IM departments
  • Setup and embed a sustainable support model for the to be situation
  • Be SPOC for program management and senior management on IM matters within the program

Strategic quality review SAP implementation plan

Quick scan review SAP implementation plan of food company entering European market. Review included:

  • Check if high level business requirements are covered;
  • Check if specifics around European Retail market are included;
  • Check if specific European base legislation incl. VAT requirements are met;
  • Advise on logical base setup of master data and pricing structures;
  • Identify main risk areas. 

Team lead Invoice Management implementation at Akzo Nobel

Responsible for a team of internal and external experts to implement a standardized Vendor Invoice Management process based on one global standard process within AkzoNobel world wide, based on SAP OpenText Invoice Management, incl.

  • Translating the strategic goals into a concrete implementation plan
  • Align these plan with all stakeholders (corporate functions, division, business unit)
  • Manage the actual implementation team(s)
  • Support business unit management (specifically finance and purchasing) with all (change) management expects during the implementation

Program Transformation Manager

Program Transformation Manager for one of the Business Area’s of AkzoNobel. In this role leading a program to move from multiple SAP systems into 1 template based SAP system in the next 3 years. Main responsibilities are:

  • Defining wave based transformation program
  • Facilitate and coach the internal IM organization with initiation and execution of this transformation program

Project Manager Strategic Outsourcing Review

Project manager Strategic review of one of the main outsourced IT services

  • Coaching group of managers within AkzoNobel with the assessment of the current outsourcing
  • Evaluate current outsourcing contract together with outsourced partner
  • Support of management group in the creation of improvement plans for future outsourcing contract

IT Lead SAP Invoice Management

IT Lead at the global implementation of SAP Venter Invoice Management within all business units at Akzo Nobel. Main tasks are:

  • Define architecture around SAP Vendor Invoice Management
  • Support the business units in setting up the infrastructure and the required system landscape
  • Setup Akzo Nobel wide IT governance and standardization process around SAP Invoice Management during and after the implementation
  • Touch point on all IT related matters
